About Us

Our MISSION is Simple
We exist to bring glory to God by proclaiming the gospel and making disciples of Jesus Christ (Mark 16:15; Matt 28:18-20; Luke 24:44-47; Acts 1:7-8).

Our MOTIVATIONS are clear
The glory of God–because we love God. Bringing glory to God is why we were created, and our greatest joy is found by bringing glory to Him. Therefore, bringing glory to God and pursuing our joy are not at odds, but are woven together.

The joy of all people–because we love people. We believe that news of great joy in God is offered to all people through Jesus Christ–his life, his death, and his resurrection. Therefore, we believe loving people best occurs when we tell others about God and His Son Jesus Christ while we serve them by meeting their needs.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Here at Anchor Point, you do not need to worry about dressing up. In fact, you’ll see plenty of jeans and flannels around! All you need to do is come in a few minutes early, grab some complimentary coffee, and find a seat. As for the layout of the service, we begin with a few songs of worship led by one of our worship teams. Then, one of our pastors will spend about half an hour sharing a message from Scripture. At the end of the service, Anchor Pointers are given the opportunity to reflect and respond to God’s word as the worship team again leads a few more songs. At this time, our prayer teams are available for personal prayer as well.

What is the community like?
Our community ranges from young families, to college students and young adults, to retired folks.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Anchor Point is made up of genuine people of all ages. We long for all to hear and respond to the gospel and to live sent as disciples of Christ in the northland and world. Genuine people, real lives, extraordinary Savior.
