Spurger Methodist is committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the authority of the scriptures. We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit in conveying God’s truth and grace to all people. We strive to watch over one another in love and bear witness to the transforming power of the Good News as we humbly, but boldly, strive to serve others as servants of Christ! As the Lord’s church we say that you are welcome here and Jesus will change your life from the inside out.

Lee Beer
Senior Pastor
Pastor Leroy “Lee” Beer will become the Pastor of Spurger Methodist Church effective July 1, 2023. He lives in Rayburn Country with his wife, Karen. They have 3 adult children, two daughters and one son. Karen is a violinist and music teacher. Lee enjoys water skiing, taking walks, and reading. His passion is sharing God’s love in Christ. We are looking forward to his leadership and are blessed to have them as part of our church family.
