From the church's website:First Church is a dynamic community that is enjoying remarkable growth. Over the past ten years the membership of the church has increased by 50% to a current total of over 1200. Members come from all four boroughs and a few from New Jersey, Westchester County and Long Island. We include a variety of racial and ethnic backgrounds and celebrate the diversity of our economic, social, and cultural representation. A large number of the congregation are young and many of our families include children. We also feel strongly that “family” should be an inclusive, not an exclusive term. Some of our parents are raising children as single parents, some are divorced, some of our children have parents of the same sex, and some of our children are adopted or part of a blended family. Older members find an active role in the life of the church as well. All are welcome. We believe that worship, education, service, and fellowship are all important parts of the Christian life and our church program life offers opportunities for involvement at all ages for children, adults, and seniors. Whether it be attending services on Sunday morning, or adult education classes midweek, cookouts and a movie on a summer evening, or a mission trip to Central America or the Gulf region. . . there is something for everyone. Come and enter in. You’ll find a warm welcome awaiting you.

Being an important part of our ministry, we would like to tell you that we are worshiping in a housing building, but by the grace of God we have been purchase a piece of land two years ago for church building. Now we extremely need fund for the construction of church building that is estimated US $ 65,000/- Sir, as I mentioned above we extremely need church building to accommodate the growing congregation but the mostly members of our congregation are very poor, laborer low paid sanitary workers and they are not able to support church rather church is helping many families to provide education to their children. In a bid to raise funds for the new church building, the church has decided to send request and would like to invite you to take part for the construction of Church Building in Pakistan.
