Christ the King Monroe

About Us

A Place For You

We’ve got a casual atmosphere and a growing group of loving people who find ways to support each other in “doing life” together. We make sure that our teaching is relevant and applicable to living our lives out each day. We especially welcome people who have given up on church in the past but are interested in giving a relationship with God another try. Looking forward to seeing you.

What to Expect

What are services like?
What can I expect at a Sunday's gathering? Each Sunday's gathering begins with a couple of worship songs and is followed by a message from the Bible. The message is what you might consider "conversational". The message is then followed by some more worship songs. Communion is made available each week at tables on either side of the gathering space. Coffee and Tea is always available during the gathering. What will others be wearing? Everyone is pretty casual on Sunday mornings. You might see others wearing jeans and T-shirts, shorts, tennis shoes, work boots or whatever. No, one really tries to "dress up". Can I bring my kids? Absolutely! After the first two worship songs children ages 5 and up join our children's team members in "The Wild" for their own special gathering. Check out the "children" portion at the top of this page for more info. What about babies? Small children and babies can be checked into the nursery at the beginning of the gathering. Parents will be asked to give the nursery volunteer their cell number in case their child needs them. (Please set you cell phone on VIBRATE). A changing table is available in the nursery for parents to use. Our nursery team does not change diapers.
