Dan Kellogg
Dan has been married to Audrey for 35 years. Audrey is a computer analyst for The Boeing Company
and they have two children; Daniel Kellogg and Kristen Dickison, both also in ministry. Daniel is a church
planter in Wenatchee, Wa. (Awaken Wenatchee), and Kristen works fulltime at Boeing and is married to
Brian, Gold Creek’s Encounter Ministries pastor. Dan and Audrey also have two grandkids; Tristen and
Kamiah.
After years of experience in traditional churches left them hungry for something different, the decision
was made to start something new. Dan and Audrey moved to a subdivision called The Falls near Mill
Creek, Washington. They wanted to start a church that would focus on meeting people where they lived
and introducing them to the God they’d been searching for. Gold Creek was born.
After three unsuccessful months of trying to get Christians to help start the church, Dan and Audrey
invited their neighbors to a Bible study. All of these neighbors were either new in their faith or didn’t
have a faith. This became the core group that would help start the church at nearby Totem Falls
Elementary (a few short miles from where Gold Creek now stands).
The growth of Gold Creek has always been amazing; adding about 100 new members each year without
any of the normal support of buildings and/or offices. Gold Creek has also added yearly to the staff with
many of them coming from within the congregation. Gold Creek has always been about reaching people
and doing the best we can to serve our members and the community. Currently Gold Creek averages
2500 in worship attendance and is well known for their loud music, tattoos, big community days and
creative ways to reach the outsider.
Dan attended Vennard Bible College for 2 years and graduated from William Penn College with a BA
in religion. He is also a graduate of the school of large church management. Dan has 34 years of
pastoral experience. He has served as a youth Pastor at Oskaloosa Nazarene, in Iowa, a Senior Pastor in
Monterey, California, and Senior Pastor in Concord, California. The last twenty years he has served as
founding Pastor at Gold Creek Community Church in Mill Creek, Washington.
