Our Services

What are services like?
The Holy Eucharist on Sunday is traditional yet accessible. The service is said except on high holy days i.e. Easter, Pentecost, Christmas, and All Saints. Hymns are usually selected from a number of hymnals and are sung by the congregation: there is no choir. The Wednesday service is held in the chapel and consists of Morning Prayer and Holy Eucharist (communion). The service is less formal than on Sunday and often those in attendance discuss the lessons in lieu of a sermon. A hymn may be sung without music. A healing service with laying on of hands and anointing is included on the first Sunday and first Wednesday of the month. Youth Sunday is held on the fifth Sunday of the month (except in the summer). Our young people read the lessons, and usher during the service. Occasionally, a young adult will deliver the address. Our youth may also serve as readers and ushers on other Sundays. Sunday School for children 3 yr to 11th grade is held at 9:30 am. Classes meet from the last Sunday in September to the second Sunday in June. Adult Forum series are held on Sunday at 11:30 am. Series run from 4-6 weeks occur throughout the year.

What is the community like?
The congregation is multi-generational and multi-ethnic and the members are welcoming.

What if I'm not a Christian?
All are welcome to worship with us.
