Faith Baptist Church believes that glorifying Jesus is the greatest of all pursuits. Every service, ministry, class, and activity is deliberately designed to draw us closer to Him.
The preaching at Faith is consistently expositional, straightforward, and authoritative for the training of effective disciples. Our pastors are burdened that each member becomes a mature Christian: that he knows God, studies the Bible, preaches the Gospel and ministers at home and church for the glory of God.
Ministry opportunities abound at Faith. This allows for more giving and receiving because God has gifted each of us with unique abilities. Through ministry we share support with our families and friends.

Thomas Overmiller
Thomas Overmiller, a husband and the father of four, has resided and ministered in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Wisconsin. He presently serves as the senior pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Queens, NY. Through preaching, teaching, and counseling he desires to lift up the authority of God's Word by explaining it carefully and candidly and by encouraging God-dependence and wholehearted obedience to all that Christ commands. He believes that the gospel has the power to transform lives, families, and communities - especially in New York City. Prior to pastoring, he served for nine years as professor of Bible, theology, and New Testament Greek at Baptist College of Ministry (Menomonee Falls, WI), where he earned a B.A. in Bible ('04) and an M.A. in Bible ('06). He has also benefited from continued graduate studies with Maranatha Baptist Seminary (Watertown, WI).Location & Directions
