Leadership
Matt Rawlings
Matt grew up in the hills of Virginia and met his wife, Julie, after High School in 1990. Matt & Julie dated all through college and were married in 1996. Later, Matt's career as an IT Professional took a different turn, when the pastors in his church asked him to attend the Sovereign Grace Pastors College. After graduating from the Pastors College in 1999, Matt served on staff at his sending church, in Fairfax, Virginia and has been in pastoral ministry since then. In 2000, Matt and Julie relocated to the Vancouver, BC, Canada area to help plant a church there. After serving as an elder in the church in Surrey, BC, Matt came back East to join the staff at Sovereign Grace Church in 2007. The Rawlings live in Simpsonville, SC with their 5 children: Noah, Abigail, Sarah, Joshua and Gideon. Matt's interests include hiking, hunting & the outdoors, soccer, reading and most of all, just having fun with his family.Location & Directions
