About Us
We are a multiracial community who embrace God's presence and empower people to live a supernatural Christian life.
Bill & Lynne Themelaras and Adam & Tara Stewart have been friends for a long time. They also served together on the pastoral staff of Covenant Church of Pittsburgh for 7 years. Bill was a member of the executive elder team and pastored several areas of ministry as well as being a worship leader. Lynne served as the Director of Children's Ministry and the Director of a daycare center. Adam & Tara were youth pastors of the large inner city ministry and Tara was also a worship leader at the church.
In 2010 they began to feel the call of God to plant a church and with the support of their pastor, Bishop Joseph Garlington, they began the adventure of prayer and preparation to pursue this vision.
In the summer of 2011 they heard God's call to plant in the Columbus, Ohio area. After a three day trip of prayer and driving all over the Columbus area on a spiritual journey, they had a God encounter in Westerville and they knew it was the city to pioneer a new church.
In the fall of 2011, both families relocated to central Ohio to make the dream of Oasis City Church become a reality.

Leadership
Bill Themelaras
Lead Pastor
Bill and Lynne are celebrating 17 years of marriage and have three beautiful children. They moved from Pittsburgh, PA to Westerville, OH in October of 2011 to plant Oasis City Church. Bill has been in ministry for over 16 years and has experience as a youth pastor, worship pastor, and executive pastor. Lynne is an educator who specializes in child development and serves as our Children's Pastor. They have a heart to help people live the supernatural Christian life and bring healing to those in need. They are so excited about the future of Oasis City Church.
