East Harlem Fellowship

About Us

Christian church

East Harlem Fellowship opened its doors in 1998 as a planting ministry of Times Square Church. It began as a coffee house outreach for the community led by founding Pastor Ivan Rios. Volunteers shared the gospel and gave a listening ear to the East Harlem Community while offering coffee and pastries. A few months later, Sunday worship service and Bible studies began.

Today East harlem fellowship is a growing vibrant church that offers a multitude of services for everyone. We are led by Pastor Hector Vega and his wife Michelle, still serving the East Harlem community through outreaches such as coffee house and events like Freedom Fest, and supporting global communities through missions.

Ours is a diverse family within the body of Jesus Christ, representing many nations - Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Nigeria, Phillipines, Malaysia, and India to name a few.

We look forward to meeting with you and growing in our walk with the Lord Jesus Christ! May the Lord bless you and keep you.
