West Sayville Reformed Bible Church

About Us
West Sayville Reformed Bible Church is committed to the proclaimation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And that mission begins here with the people of Long Island. Without gimmicks or games we preach Jesus Christ to honor our Triune God in worship, fellowship, life, and testimony. If you are looking for a church home, feel free to join us for worship as we together glorify our Savior, Jesus Christ.
We belong in West Sayville. As a witness in the Long Island community we rejoice in God's grace over 135 years of ministry. We are called to share the love of Jesus Christ and tell of His salvation starting here where God has placed us. This is the first part of our broader mission to share the gospel with the whole world (Matthew 28:19-20).
Our name Reformed testifies to our spiritual heritage in the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century. The Protestant Reformation was a movement which recovered the supreme importance of the Bible's authority for faith and life. We unashamedly believe God's Word to be inerrant, infallible, and unchanging (2 Timothy 3:16). The Reformation also recovered the glorious biblical truth of salvation by grace alone. In other words, God alone saves people by sovereignly and graciously giving them faith in Jesus Christ and a trust in his sacrifice for them on the cross as a payment for their sins (Ephesians 2:8-9).
We are a Bible church because we believe the Bible to be the true and complete word of salvation. The Bible is the infallible source of doctrine and direction for our lives as we strive by the Holy Spirit to continually bring our teachings and lifestyle into ever-closer conformity with God's will.
Our name Church means that we have a unique identity with Jesus. We are not a social club. Christ gathers us together by His Spirit and Word to worship and serve Him (John 10:14-16). We confess that Jesus Christ is the sovereign King of the Church (Colossians 1:18). Therefore, we strive to discipline our lives according to Christ's Word in our doctrine, worship, government, mission, fellowship, and daily living.

Rev. Andrew Eenigenburg
Rev. Andrew D. Eenigenburg has come to West Sayville from the South Chicago Region where he was born and raised. He graduated summa cum laude from Valparaiso University in 2005 with a degree in Classics and from Mid-America Reformed Seminary with a Masters of Divinity Degree in 2008. Settling in West Sayville with his lovely wife, Annaleah, and young daughters, Poppy, Olive, and Fable, Pastor Drew began leading the congregation in 2009 as minister of the word and sacraments under our Lord, Jesus Christ. He serves this community church as the 19th pastor in our congregation's 136-year history. God remains faithful to us through all the seasons of our church's history! Feel free to contact Pastor Drew with any questions about faith in Christ, how God's word applies in our lives, for prayer, or to get to know our congregation.Location & Directions
