Water's Edge Church

What are services like?
Please do not show up dressed in your "finest" (unless you want to!). We're pretty casual and welcome people to come as they are. We're meeting in a gymnasium so you can expect a casual atmosphere and the usual sound effects experienced in a gymnasium. During each service we sing a few songs, our pastor gives a teaching about a section of the Bible and we frequently have something special for the kids to help with or participate in. Near the end, the pastor (or another volunteer) will spend a few minutes praying for needs of those in our own church, others we know, and the community. Sometimes we also hear someone tell a short story about how they have recently witnessed God working in their life or someone else's.

What is the community like?
We're a family - always looking for ways to serve our local community and looking out for each other's needs as well. We like getting together to share life and fun times. We hope that everyone who visits will feel welcome during their time with us.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We hope you'll still feel welcome! We recognize that coming to God is a process and a journey for many of us. We'd like to accept you right where you are on that journey and help you move toward knowing God for the first time or knowing Him better. We invite you to join in any of our activities and make yourself at home.
