Valley Family Church is a growing church in Kalamazoo, MI. Our vision is simple: we exist so people get it! We have found that when we combine culturally relevant methods with the timeless gospel - lives are dramatically changed! In November 2009, we moved into a brand-new-state-of-the-art facility and were named, by Outreach Magazine, as the 44th fastest growing church in America.

Valley Family Church is a multi-generational church where the word of faith is taught and the spirit of faith is caught. We are committed to helping the lost get saved and the saved get victory! VFC was founded by Pastors Jeff and Beth Jones, a husband-and-wife team who share a passion for the local church.

What to Expect

What are services like?
You and your family can expect a fun, relevant, genuine experience with the Lord and the great people who make up VFC. Depending on your church or religious background or past experiences, we hope your visit to VFC will be a refreshing, God-filled experience. And you might discover this isn't "Church as usual." Our atmosphere is casual, so feel free to wear your jeans! After church, stick around and hang out in the Atrium or Cafe to meet new friends. The weekend services are fun, relevant and loaded with worship, the Word and the power of the Spirit. We like to use all kinds of creative arts and media to worship and teach the Word including: video, music, moving lights, creative set designs, relevant Bible teaching and humor. We also provide a top of the line Kids ministry called "Kidamazoo Studios" for birth-5th grade.

What if I'm not a Christian?
YOU ARE WELCOME! Each weekend we open our doors to all types of people, from all different walks of life. You will feel welcomed, accepted, encouraged and even challenged. From the moment you pull into our parking lot until the moment you leave, you'll be greeted with smiles from people who are genuinely glad you are at church and willing to help in any way. If you're not a Christian, we're glad that you are there and trust that God will meet you exactly where you are.

Leadership

Jeff and Beth Jones

Pastor Jeff and Beth Jones serve together as the Senior Pastors of Valley Family Church. They pioneered the church in September of 1991 and for the past 20 years have lead the congregation as a team. Pastor Jeff has his BA in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, MI and received his ministry training at RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK. He is licensed and ordained through the RHEMA Ministerial Association International. Pastor Beth received her B.A. in Communications from Boston University, in Boston, Massachusetts and her post-graduate Bible training & ordination through RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
