It is our passion that you would experience the abundant life that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
We believe there are three essential aspects to experiencing Christ.
Worship: God created us for a profound relationship with Him. Worship is the expression of all that Christ is in our lives. John 4:23-24, John 17:3
Grow: If we have experienced the goodness of God in our lives, we need to take steps to grow and strengthen our faith. I Peter 2:2-3, Colossians 2:6-7
Serve: We are called to bless others just as we have been blessed. Serving draws us deeper into the joy that Christ has for us. Genesis 12: 2, John 13:12-17
Regardless of your stage of life, we desire to help you move deeper in Christ as you Worship, Grow and Serve.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Welcome Our worship services typically begin with a time of singing, praise and worship, followed by prayer, scripture reading and a sermon. We realize that everyone has different musical tastes, but we worship the same God. Our worship team prepares a mix of hymns and contemporary worship choruses each Sunday. Music words and sermon notes are projected on the worship screen. Giving our tithes and offerings is an act of worship. As our guest, you are invited, but not obligated to participate during the offering time. Our members take this opportunity to show their love and commitment to God by giving back to Him by investing in ministry to people locally and around the world. Our pastor teaches directly from the Bible and helps you apply God’s truth to your life. Visit our Sermon Library to download and listen to a recent sermon.

What is the community like?
We like to think of ourselves as a family here at Valley Free. A place where it is comfortable to be yourself. We celebrate and care for one another as we grow together in Christ.

What if I'm not a Christian?
As evidenced time and time again in the Bible, Jesus meets us where we are at in life. All of us are sinners in need of a savior. No matter where you are at on your journey, you are welcome at Valley.

Leadership

Mike Sindelar

Mike’s involvement with Valley Free goes back many years. Valley Free was instrumental in showing Mike and his wife, Sandy, the vitality, grace and truth of a loving church community in their early years of marriage. Seeing Christ at work in the fellowship of the church family was formed into a passion to help others experience Christ’s love. That passion led Mike and Sandy, along with their three kids, to become church-planting missionaries to Pitesti, Romania. They saw God move in many ways to establish a sister-church in that city. Following ten years of ministry in Romania, Mike and Sandy returned to Chaska where Mike took up the role of Pastor of Ministry Development and then, after 5 years, stepped into the role of senior pastor. In addition to working with the church family, Pastor Mike enjoys interaction with the community. His involvement includes the LoveINC Pastors group, being a chaplain with the Chaska Police Department and being involved in a community group of Civil War enthusiasts. The Sindelars live in Chaska and love spending time with their family.
