Who We Are

"Nurturing souls for Jesus Christ through worship, missions and ministry"

Our congregation was founded in 1900, and holds to The Church's historic teachings, liturgy, and hymnody. We belong to the English District of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. We operate a Christian Day School that starts with Pre-K at the church campus and goes all the way up through 12th Grade at our Penn Hills Campus at the end of Idaho Ave. We support missionaries throughout the world, including in Latin America and India and Sri Lanka.
NOTE: This is one of two Faith Street profiles for our congregation.

Our Services

Service Times

Sunday
  • 09:30am - Sunday School and Bible Class
  • 10:45am - The Holy Communion is offered every Sunday.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We use Lutheran Service Book for all our services. Services are conducted with ceremonies, such as singing the Liturgy, kneeling, making the sign of the cross, and more. These things teach us about Christ, and our pastor talks about what these ceremonies mean. If you would like to commune with us but are not a member of an LCMS congregation, please speak with our pastor first. We believe that communing together shows that we believe all the same things.

What is the community like?
We have a wide range in ages, and people come from many parts of the Pittsburgh area.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Come join us! Pastor is more than happy to tell you about Jesus.
