What to Expect

What are services like?
Our Sunday morning worship style may be best described as "Blended Traditional," including a mix of older hymns and gospel songs with newer hymns and worship songs. We study the scriptures from many translations, seeking to understand God’s truth and apply it to daily living. We are committed to living as God’s people and to developing new believers to live as God’s people for His glory! Our Sunday evening worship is a "Contemporary Traditional" style Hispanic service.

What is the community like?
Terry Parker Baptist Church defines its mission as: Love God, Love People, Share the Good News. Love God and Love People are based on Matthew 22:36-38. In these verses Jesus responds to a question about the greatest commandment by quoting from Deuteronomy 6:5, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” Then He quotes from Leviticus 19:18 “ Love your neighbor as yourself.” Share the Good News is based on Matthew 28:19-20. Jesus instructed his followers to go and make disciples of all nations.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome to join us for any of our weekly Bible Studies, Worship Celebrations, periodic Sunday evening Conversations, and Fellowship activities. Our prayer is that you may better understand the relationship between God and the people who accept God's gift of salvation and that this relationship is more important than the religious activities in which we engage.
