What is the community like?
The church community's location is central to area towns and those who commute between the city of Rochester, the Finger Lakes, and the Southern Tier region of western NY. The community is flexible enough to embrace the loving practice of yoga to serve this greater community.
ST.Timothy Lutheran church accepted and is in joint partnership with III in I Yoga, owned and directed by Carol Williams, since 2/2004. Carol has taught yoga since 9/1998 and officially certified with Essential Yoga Teacher Training at Open Sky Yoga and member of Yoga Alliance since summer of 2005. The III on I Yoga program benefits from ongoing training and study by Carol to its students.
Over the years 2-4 classes a week are offered on a continuous, free will offering donation basis. Predominantly the donations go toward building use as an offering, teacher training, prop procurement and maintenance, charitable contributions and travel expenses ( from time to time).
