We are an ELCA congregation with three services every weekend.

We are a congregation that offers something for everyone! There are three services a weekend - one on Saturday night and two on Sunday morning. Three different styles so there should be something that's appealing to all people.

Vibe: Casual, Traditional Liturgy, Friendly, Young families, Lots of kids

Programs: Youth Group, Nursery, Adult Education, Food Pantry, Children's Ministry

Music: Traditional Hymns, Contemporary, Organ

Our Services

Service Times

Saturday

06:00pm: a blended service that is very laid back. Music is accompanied by a baby grand piano.

Sunday

08:00am: Traditional service with organ and piano music. Services are conducted from the ELW.
10:30am: Come Alive service - this is our praise and worship service.. The music is led by the Come Alive group and is held in our Parish Hall. This is very much a "come as you are" style of service.

What to Expect

What are services like?
It depends on which service you attend. We offer three very distinct styles of worship over the course of a weekend. At all three services you are welcome as you are. Worshipers wear everything from suit and tie to blue jeans and t-shirts. The main thing is you are coming to worship and be a part of our community. We will welcome you with open arms!

What if I'm not a Christian?
All are welcome at St John's, regardless of what you might believe. We want to be an inviting place that people can feel comfortable to explore their faith and their relationship with God. Our 10:30 service on Sunday is geared towards those who are seeking and are not really comfortable with "church" language. No matter what service you attend, everyone is welcome at St John's!
