About Us

Welcome, Inspire, Serve, Transform

Welcoming all to live the light of Christ!
We believe that the light and love of God are at the very heart of all things. This light and love are fully manifested for Christians in the life of Jesus of Nazareth and we believe they are also revealed in all of the great faith traditions. We commit to living into this sacred light and sharing it freely with all.
We strive to live out the promise made in the Baptismal Covenant “to seek and serve Christ in all persons, respecting the dignity of every human being.” Accordingly, we are an open and affirming community. We welcome people of every denomination and faith.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We offer a variety of services throughout the week. Read more on website: http://www.saintmarks.org/Worship/worship.php. Services include Holy Eucharist, sung Evensong, Evening Prayer, Compline. Some are big and traditional (organ and choirs!), some are quieter and take place in the chapels.

What is the community like?
We are a community of faith–people of God, who seek to proclaim boldly by word and action the reconciling Gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive to live out the promise made in the Baptismal Covenant “to seek and serve Christ in all persons, respecting the dignity of every human being.” Accordingly, we are an open and affirming community. We invite everyone to join us wherever you are on your faith journey. Our congregation is noted for work in social justice and our excellent music programs. We have a vibrant children and youth program, with a childcare center, Sunday School, and Choir School.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We welcome people of every denomination and faith wherever you are on your faith journey.
