Rev. Tony Palubicki

Pastor Tony began serving Powell Valley Presbyterian in 2004. He served in the Navy for over twenty years and worked as a civil servant for nearly 10 years before answering God's call to pastoral ministry. He is a graduate of St. Leo University where he earned a BA in Religion and is also a graduate of Union Presbyterian Seminary (Richmond, VA) where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. Prior to becoming an ordained Minister (Teaching Elder) Tony served the church as a Ruling Elder. Tony and his wife Anne have two children and two grandsons. He loves baseball; especially visiting minor-league ballparks. He also enjoys music, plays the guitar, and likes getting together to jam and sing with others whenever he can. He is a Natural Church Development coach and is currently serving as the moderator of Abingdon Presbytery's Church Development Committee. In his free time Tony serves as Board Chairman for the Food Bank of Wise County, our local food bank.
