Our Services

What are services like?
Our services are like most traditional Christian Protestant churches. We begin with a song and scripture reading, then we have the congregational prayer and take up tithes & offerings. After the children's story, we have a special musical selection and then the pastor, an elder, or a guest speaker gives a message. Finally, we have a closing song and the benediction (a short prayer just prior to our being dismissed). On the first and third Sabbaths, we have a fellowship dinner after the worship service, and all are invited to attend.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You don't have to be a Christian to come to our church. If you just want to know more about God, Jesus, or what it means to be a Christian, please visit us and ask whatever questions you have. If this is your first time visiting us, please ask for your free copy of "Health and Wellness: Secrets That Will Change Your Life." This little book contains information that will bring you better health and a better life.

Ernie Peckham

Prior to taking over the Plymouth/Knox/Rochester/Warsaw district, Pastor Ernie Peckham ministered in the Terre Haute/Lewis/Greencastle district for over 11 years. He is a graduate of Atlantic Union College and held positions as a respiratory therapist, computer programmer, systems analyst, consultant, and consulting manager before becoming a youth pastor and then senior pastor. However, Pastor Peckham declares that his greatest credential is that he is loved by the Lord. He enjoys reading and studying his Bible and loves to share Jesus with others. His wife, Karen Moeckel Peckham, is a registered nurse in a neo-natal intensive care unit. They have two children: Stefanie Nugent, a beautician in Broad Ripple, Indiana, and Dr. John Peckham, an Associate Professor of Theology and Christian Philosophy at the Andrews University Seminary in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
