Rev. Shane Isner is proud to be the pastor of Plymouth Creek! He graduated from Colorado College (B.A. in Philosophy and Music), the University of Chicago Divinity School (Masters of Divinity, M.Div.), was ordained at Iglesia del Pueblo Christian Church in Hammond, IN, served his first two years in ministry as a Pastoral Resident on staff of a 1000 member congregation in Lexington, KY, and in August 2008, came to be the minister of this congregation. Since then, he’s overseen many aspects of church growth in vibrant worship, church attendance and participation, community service and vision creation, has a passion for leadership development and reaching out to families and young adults, Pastor Shane represents PCCC on several community boards (Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners and the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches), and serves our church’s region in both its camping ministries and its Commission on Ministry. He loves to write, cook, run, obsess about the Denver Broncos, ski whenever he’s able, play with his dog Fawkes, read history and counts as his greatest blessing- indeed his first and best calling- being married to an amazing, strong, intelligent and hilarious woman, Rev. Tabitha Isner. And he loves to grab coffee or happy hour with folk to talk about PCCC, religion, life, football, Jesus, whatever.
