What to Expect

What are services like?
Both casual and business attire are welcome in our services. Pastor generally uses a narrative preaching style. Most worship services include a blend of traditional hymns, gospel music and contemporary music with piano, guitar and some drum accompaniment and occasionally without accompaniment. Pre-Kindergarten and Jr Worship is available each Sunday during the worship hour for ages 2 through 10. Morning worship generally is 60-75 minutes in length.

What is the community like?
The faith community is composed of all ages from infant to 96 years. There are 4-generation families who have attended here their entire lives and others who come from a variety of denominational backgrounds and those who have not had any church background.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are invited and encouraged to come. We pray you will experience the love of Jesus in our community and that you will find a home with us.

Leadership

Merle Christner

Pastor Merle and his wife Evie are in their first pastorate being at Pinto since 2008. He experienced the call to the ministry later in life as a second (or third or fourth) vocation. For many years he was involved in the printing industry, migrating into digital reproduction and computers. While he still enjoys digital reproduction he has a passion of sharing the message of Jesus which is that we are to be committed to building our relationship with God and with others.
