Our Services

What are services like?
We seek to worship the Lord with enthusiastic reverence and decorum. Using the best of Christian hymnody, bith old and new. All services include music (both congregational and performance) led by our praise team, prayers by our pastor and others, and a sermon from the Bible. Service length averages 1 hour and 25 minutes.

What is the community like?
A broad spectrum in ages. From singles, young families with small children, middle aged, and retirees.

homes but did not come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior until 1974 at the age of 21, through the witness of a neighbor. They came to PYBC in August of 2001 from Charlotte, North Carolina after he "retired" following over 20 years of ministry with Bible Broadcasting Network. Over those years he served as a radio station manager, Network Operations Manager, and manager of the Legal/Technical department. Prior to his work with BBN, Leo was a pastor in the Atlanta area and worked as an electronics technician. He holds a Bachelors (1980) and Masters (1982) degrees from Baptist University of America and has been in the ministry since 1977. Leo and Martha grew up in Savannah, Georgia, graduated from Sol C. Johnson HS where they were high school sweethearts. They married in 1973 and have three grown children and three most wonderful grandchildren
