Who We Are

At the Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church, we as believers seek to try the spirit, by the spirit. We strive to be believers of faith. We do believe that God did send his son to die for our sins so that we may have a right to the tree of life. Which is why we seek to work together as a family of the body of Christ. For we know the old motto is true, “A Family that prays together, stays together”.

Our Services

What are services like?
Our main goal for every service is to ensure that the spirit of the Lord is in the place because we believe when God is in the place, he will take care of everything else. From the Sunday School hour to the Worship Hour, you can expect nothing but Christian Love, compassion, and the spirit of the Lord our God. Each service is also exciting, and anointed.

What is the community like?
Our community is filled with people who have the heart of Christ. When one of us is down, we are blessed to turn to our brothers and sisters in Christ that live in the same neighborhood for assistance. The best way to describe our community is "loving" because that's exactly what we all strive for.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Even to those who may not be a Christian or don't know much about church or Christianity, we invite you and promise you the same treatment we give to everyone else. We are all one in Christ Jesus. We do not judge anyone who come through our doors. In fact, whatever you do in the world, doesn't exist to us when you enter our doors. We invite you to come and participate with us in the service of the Lord.

When it comes to Pastors, you can't get more down to earth than our own Pastor Freddie Parham. He preaches the word of God with such fire and anointing and we know it's all about Christ. But, seeing that he is someone else who invest so much in our youth ministry, we can't miss an opportunity to say how much he blesses us. He has made so many contributions to our youth ministry, and to our church body. He's always supporting and encouraging us in so many ways. He's also a very humble man and quite the family man. There's nothing he wouldn't do for those who need something and to those who ask.
