What does the name "Momentum" mean?
2000 years ago, God set in motion the Church has his vehicle to bring the hope of Jesus to the world, we just want to keep the MOMENTUM going.

Where Does Momentum Christian Church Gather?
You can join us each Sunday morning at 10am at our new location at Montevalle Community Center in Chula Vista, CA. 840 Duncan Ranch Rd. Chula Vista, CA 91914

What Do I Wear To The Momentum Gatherings?
Wear whatever you want. Some of our people like to wear shorts and flip flops while others like to dress up. Wear whatever is comfortable for you.

What About My Kids?
At Momentum we love our kids and they love Kids' City! Every Sunday morning we have special programs just for our kids. They play, sing, and learn about Jesus in a fun, creative, and age-appropriate environment. Find out more on our Kids' City page

How Long Does The Gathering Last?
Our gatherings start at 10am and usually last around 70 minutes.

Worship - Relationship with Jesus - We really want to know Jesus; we believe this is way bigger then just knowing about Him, it’s actually having a relationship with Him. It’s about passionately pursuing Him through reading the Bible and prayer.

Community - Relationship with Others - God created us to pursue Jesus with others in community. Biblical community is all about sharing life together, loving each other as family, and encouraging one another in our relationship with Jesus.

Generosity -Reflecting Jesus - Jesus not only came to die for us, but he also came to show us how to live this life to the fullest. Jesus made every day count by the way he loved and served people. We want to live everyday just like Jesus, in hope that His name would be made famous throughout the Earth.

Movement -Reproducing Ourselves - We want to see the Kingdom of God advance and so we are intentional about reproducing leaders, artists, small groups, and churches.
