What are services like?
We start with conversation because we value it so deeply. If you arrive at 1045 expect to have a few conversations before the music starts. Then, Indie Music written by our musicians (or sister community's musicians) help us sing about where we find ourselves and where we hope we are moving together. Passing the Peace is a 5 minute space to both receive and pass the peace along with some brief conversation. The "talk" (instead of sermon) is conversational most often, with regular invitations for everyone who wants to participate in shaping the conversation. Finally we participate each week in the Lord's Supper together. Kids community keeps the small ones attention (and gives parents a chance to participate during the gathering) and wraps them in the narrative of the Gospel each week.

What is the community like?
Down to earth. Not stuffy. Conversational. Not lecture hall. Music that emerges out of the community. Not Christian top 40. Small. Not Mega. Other's centered. Not country club. Participant centric. Not clergy dominated. Co-Leadership. Not a one (wo)man show. Gender inclusive. Not male dominated. All inclusive. Not bigoted.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You'd fit right in. There are many who believe in Jesus as divine. But there are also many who love the teachings and the way of Jesus but aren't sure about all of the faith claims. We won't force you to adhere to our understanding. But all the same, we will invite you into the way of Jesus - practicing a life oriented toward others rather than yourself. Practicing a way of peace. Practicing a way of Justice. Practicing a way of life that goes way beyond belief. We think that no matter where you find yourself, we can journey together, since Jesus invited people to follow God's way of love, not simply 'believe' in it.
