What to Expect

What are services like?
Our 10 a.m. Sunday service is a blend of worship and "family gathering." We are a multi-generational group and our prayer and share time is meaningful. We sing both contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns. Children are a "joyful noise" and are encourage to remain in the sanctuary for the sermon; however, 6th grade and under are dismissed prior to the sermon for children's church ministry. Sermons are based on scripture, the Gospel is presented, and the love and hope of the Lord fills us with joy. We seek the Holy Spirit and the Lord's leading in our lives.

What is the community like?
Whenever a family goes on a trip, it isn’t very long before someone asks the question, “Are we there yet?” All of us here at MSCC have arrived at the church we love and call home. Whether you are visiting or looking for a place to call home, we are here for you. As the Pastor, if you decide to make MSCC your home, I want to assure you of three things. First, you will hear the Word of God proclaimed unabashedly through prayers, songs, readings, teachings, sermons, ministries, and missions. Jesus will be glorified and His teachings lived out. Second, we will love you and make you part of this big family. We know there are no perfect people in this world; we have all been through life’s struggles. It is only through Jesus’ love, forgiveness, and healing that we are bound together. Finally, you will be encouraged to plug in with one of our ongoing ministries where you could use your talents.
