Metropolitan Community Church of New York MCCNY is a spiritual home for NYC’s LGBTQIA community, open to all. MCCNY is committed to social justice and works actively for equality and equal rights in New York City, New York State and around the world. Through MCCNY Charities, we operate Sylvia’s Place, NYC’s only emergency overnight shelter for homeless LGBTQ youth as well as the Sylvia Rivera Food Pantry, which provides bagged lunches to the hungry in the area and groceries to those living with HIV/AIDS.
