We are an Independent Baptist Church. We hope you’ll find us to be an encouraging, friendly group of people. We still sing Hymns, we still use the Bible, and we still are church. We don’t make any claims to be perfect, that’s why we set aside time every week to worship God and learn from His Book…the Bible. Even though you’ll be blessed with our music, we are not here to be entertaining. It’s all about the BIBLE!!!!

Matt Souza
Senior Pastor
Pastor Matt Souza serves as the pastor of Highpoint Baptist Church with a deep commitment to faithful, expository preaching. His desire is to preach the Word of God clearly, verse by verse, allowing Scripture to speak for itself and shape the hearts of God’s people.
His ministry is centered on strong biblical doctrine, practical application, and helping believers grow in spiritual maturity. Pastor Matt believes the church should be grounded in truth, strengthened through sound preaching, and unified around the Word of God.
With a heart for shepherding people through both the valleys and the victories of life, he strives to lead Highpoint Baptist Church with conviction, clarity, and compassion — always pointing people back to Christ and His Word.
