Susan L. Davidson

Mother Davidson is a native of Buffalo, NY and holds degrees from the University of Buffalo, Union Theological Seminary, NYC (Master of Sacred Music) and The General Theological Seminary, NYC (Master of Divinity). Before ordination in 1994, she served as organist/choirmaster in a wide variety of churches in New York, Illinois and Louisiana. As a priest, she has served churches in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. She was the first woman to be called as rector in the Diocese of Louisiana, where she served as rector of All Saints’, River Ridge (suburban New Orleans) from 1998 - 2008.
