Our Services

Service Times

Sunday
11:00am
2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays we worship in a traditional style with piano and organ musice. We have Communion every Sunday.
05:30pm
1st and 3rd Sundays we worship around a dinner table at our Emmaus Meal and Worship. The style is based on the traditional structure of worship but is freer in form. We do experiential ritual and music. The sermon is a brief reflection followed by dinner conversation in which all those gathered are invited to reflect. The meal is made by those gathered and with produce from the farmer's market.

Amy Kienzle
Mission Development Pastor

Pastor Amy is a native New Yorker, who spent 6 years at her first church in Michigan doing ministry in an interfaith community, where a large part of the community is Arab and Muslim. She has a passion for justice, particularly in Israel-Palestine and is the chair of the Mideast Relations Committee of the Lutheran church in New York. When she is not working to start a new ministry in Greenpoint, Pastor Amy runs and bikes around the city and walks her dog Brooklyn. She also enjoys creative expression through art and cooking.
