    Baxton is originally from California but has been in New York for the last several years. He is creative and passionate about music and the arts. He performs in the subway doing Gregorian Chant and Sacred Harp, which are two forms of traditional church chants. Baxton brings a fresh perspective to what it means to be the church in Greenpoint.

    Pastor Amy is a native New Yorker, who spent 6 years at her first church in Michigan doing ministry in an interfaith community, where a large part of the community is Arab and Muslim. She has a passion for justice, particularly in Israel-Palestine and is the chair of the Mideast Relations Committee of the Lutheran church in New York. When she is not working to start a new ministry in Greenpoint, Pastor Amy runs and bikes around the city and walks her dog Brooklyn. She also enjoys creative expression through art and cooking.
