About Us

You are called. You are welcome.

As people of God, we come together in all our diverse backgrounds to worship the one God found through Christ Jesus and by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. We live together, embracing our differences and working to better our community. As ELCA Lutherans, we have a rich traditional history and a loving presence.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Worship at the church is an extension of how we live. We yearn to be active in the community and serving in the church is just one way to do that. So, you'll see a lot of people helping out throughout the service--and depending when you visit, they'll be from the very young to the very experienced. We strive to have an informal formality, like visiting family during the holidays. Come as you are, enjoy the lightheartedness, be a part of the deep love of God, and know that you are wonderfully made.

What is the community like?
We are Lutherans, which means many of us love paradox. We are Republicans and Democrats; we are young and the more experienced; we are people of different ethnic backgrounds (although we can always improve in this); we are traditional and contemporary; we are straight and gay. Above all, we are authentic, which is the number one word used by guests who visit our church. Be who God made you to be, and be welcomed here.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Not to worry. We have a few people who come to church who are of different faiths, including Judaism and Buddhism. They come because of the universality of the message and while they don't partake in Holy Communion, they still receive God's unconditional love which inspires them the rest of the week.
