Who We Are
We long to reach for future, but value the past. Our heritage is like roots that keep us grounded. It gives us a solid foundation, but our future gives us hope. Do we really have to forsake one to pursue the other? No. We don't. The truth is, blending the two gives us a balance that links stability with innovation.
"Ancient/Future" describes a movement within the Church world-wide and refers to taking the best of our heritage - evangelical, charismatic and sacramental - and unifying it. Since Jesus is referred to in scripture as Him who was, is, and is to come, the Church should reflect that same convergent quality. It may be the Church we were looking for all along.
