What are services like?
Our traditional service feature hymns, a choir, handbells, and the organ. It includes a responsive liturgy and the pastors typically robe for these services. Our celebration service is more laid back with music led from the piano and our praise singers. There is a less formal liturgy and all of the congregation's responses are found on our screens.

What is the community like?
This church community is friendly, warm, and welcoming. We look out for each other and have a great ministry to our homebound and those who are ill. That welcome moves beyond our doors, however, and we are also a congregation active in missions. Our primary mission connections outside the church are with the Children and Family Urban Movement, Hawthorne Hill, and we are building relationships with our nearby schools.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Come! Immanuel is a pretty diverse place as far as political/theological perspectives. We are open to questions and wrestling with faith together. This is a great community to be involved with, even if you are simply looking for a place to serve, to sing, or to find a home.
