What is the community like?
Our church name reflects our community - we are a group of people doing life together in all of life's ups and downs. We are a community of Jesus' followers where there is no room for condemnation. We believe in the forgiveness of God and his grace and that anyone who is willing, may receive forgiveness, healing and restoration.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Grace Community is a very safe place where you will hear a potentially "dangerous" life changing message; a message of life and hope that will challenge you to life change from the inside out.

Leadership

Don Sanderson

Don and Shari are the Lead Pastors of Grace Community Assembly of God. They have 2 children, a son in law, and they just welcomed their very first grandson. Pastor Don enjoys spending time with my family; walks on the beach, a good book and Starbucks Coffee. Pastor Don serves as the Lead Chaplain for the Whittier Police Department as well as a member of the District Presbytery for the Southern California Assemblies of God. Pastor Don stated: "It is my understanding and belief that God desires to be involved in the lives of people; it is His desire for our community to experience His love and Grace and the Church is the instrument through which He will demonstrate it. Political and economic reform is temporary; only a true Spiritual Awakening will change the hearts of people for eternity."
