Crosspointe - A Foursquare Church

Who We Are

First, we are Christians, which distinguishes us from other world religions and cults. Therefore, we adhere to both the Apostles and Nicene Creeds.

Second, we are Foursquare , which means we are part of a church movement proclaiming Jesus to be Savior, Healer, Giver of the Holy Spirit, and King!

For our complete doctrinal statement visit www.foursquare.org.

Third, we are Evangelicals, which means we believe in...

Conversionism: the belief that lives need to be transformed through a “born-again” experience and a life long process of following Jesus.

1) Activism: the expression and demonstration of the gospel in missionary and social reform efforts
2) Biblicism: a high regard for and obedience to the Bible as the ultimate authority
3) Crucicentrism: a stress on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross as making possible the redemption of humanity

Finally, we are Missional, which means we believe that our local churches must be faithful to the continually changing context of the culture(s) in which they minister (1 Corinthians 9:19-23).

Our Services

What are services like?
Children’s & Nursery (Birth - 5th grade): Drop-off & pick up before service time on the south side of the building. Drop off can be done before the service begins. They will experience fun while they learn the Bible and strengthen their faith at their level. Our children't workers are background checked and finger print registered. Youth (6th - 12th grade): They will join us for worship during in the main auditorium, and be dismissed to their class after worship. Adult Service: Feel free to grab some coffee or water and strike up a conversation while you wait for service to begin. We begin at 5pm with worship (singing). Some will be very expressive (sing out, stand up, clap hands, raise hands, etc.) Others will be more reflective (reading the lyrics, sitting, praying, etc.). There will be an opportunity to ask for prayer during this time. We hit the pinacle of our worship time together by celebrating God’s goodness to us as we give our financial offering. You’ll hear about some of the cool things happening in the church and get briefed on upcoming events. Finally, you’ll get to enjoy a Bible based message that we hope will kickstart a great week with God! So, sit back and enjoy the service that we’ve planned for you!

What is the community like?
We are a community of people from diverse backgrounds and living in a diverse set of circumstances, brought together by a common goal of learning how to love God and love people in our unique circumstances. Within the church community we have "church families" that we call LOL groups (Life on Life Groups). These are people in the church who have built friendships, accountability, and support as they grow together in Christ.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We believe that people begin their journey with God far before they ever "sign on the dotted line" to become a Christian. We believe that the Church was established to be a place of seeking God for the convinced & unconvinced alike - for those who need to take ANOTHER STEP of faith in Christ and those who have yet to take their FIRST STEP of placing their faith in Christ for salvation. So "come one come all" - there is a place for everyone.
