Leadership
W. David Thomas
David has recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of his ordination and has advanced degrees from Southern Baptist and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminaries. He has pastored two churches, preached at many retreats and conferences in the northeast, and assisted dozens of churches during pastoral changes. For 23 years he was a bi-vocational pastor when he served as President and CEO of Bethany Community Services (Haverhill, MA), providing housing and social services to seniors across a wide income spectrum. David is a bicyclist, enjoys photography, and with his wife Patricia loves sharing time with their married children and grandchildren in Bar Harbor, Maine. David has been the Pastor at Kingston FCC since 1997. In addition to his gifts in preaching and teaching, he has led multiple organizations through internal evaluations, vision and goal setting processes, and strategic planning. He has been a leader of Noah's Ark Day Care Center, The Pregnancy Care Center (Haverhill, MA), Rotary Club, Sarah's Place Adult Day Health Center, and New England Home for the Deaf among other community organizations
