About Us

Sharing God's Love in Unity: Reaching Outward, Growing Upward

Established in 1963 as part of the Reformed Church in America, Church of the Master's (CotM) desires to be church that shares God's word, love and grace by reaching outward, growing upward and living together in faith and love. Sharing the love of Jesus means, for us, that we reach out with compassion to the hurting, the lonely, the broken and the disenfranchised living all around us. To help do this the church has provided shelter for the homeless in cooperation with the Macomb County Warming Shelter, participated in CROP walk, provided clothing and food to CAP (Community Assistance Program) in Detroit, and fresh produce from the Friendship Community Garden to low income seniors in our community.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Services are relaxed and friendly; a time of praise followed by a message exploring what it means for us to be the family of God in our world today.

What is the community like?
A friendly, caring community that has a heart of compassion for the hurting and lonely people living all around us.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are more than welcome to come and be a part of any of our programs or activities. As a small church we know that we must partner with anyone willing to help us feed the hungry, care for the homeless, stand up for the poor and reach out to the lonely.
