About Us
A New Church – For the Whole Neighborhood
We’re a community of people living in the Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, and Bed Stuy area of Brooklyn, New York. Apart from our shared space, we sometimes have little in common. A few of us have lived here for a long time, while others are newcomers; some of our vocations and hobbies don’t overlap much; we are composed of various races, ethnicities, ages, and cultures; and many of us are committed Christians, while some of us are still exploring the claims of Jesus and his church. Even though these differences could create tension or indifference, we share one unifying commonality: we’ve been moved to help form this new community known as Resurrection Clinton Hill—a church that seeks to experience for itself, and then embody for others, the presence of Jesus.

Leadership
Jamison Galt
Lead Pastor
Jamison Galt is the founding pastor of Resurrection Clinton Hill. He hails from everywhere, or nowhere––depending on your perspective––having grown up in Florida, California, Washington State, North Carolina, and Texas, in that order. Jamison eventually graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with his degree in English Literature and a focus on creative writing. He received his Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. From 2006 to 2010 Jamison served as an assistant pastor at Resurrection Park Slope, during which time he completed Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan’s church planting Fellows Program under Pastor Timothy Keller and others. Jamison was ordained here in Brooklyn on Pentecost Sunday, 2007. For fun Jamison likes to cook, write, make music, do immersive theater, and bike all over NYC.
