Growing, Living, Sharing; A Christian community

We are a small welcoming congregation found directly off of Chamberlayne Rd. Although we are currently small in number, we are big in community impact. We are a mission focused church, and strive to help our surrounding community in whatever means possible. We have an annual after school tutoring program, as well as, regularly donate and volunteer with Lamb's Basket. Also, we stay connected through CHUMC Knitters and Crocheters, UMFS, Samaritan Fund, Highland Support Project, Society of St. Andrews, Interfaith Services of Henrico, Richmond ARC, Stop Hunger Now, and Chaplain Service of Virginia. We have wonderful programs developed for those with special needs, as well as, programs for seniors. We are in the process of developing a program for youth, and if you have children and/or would like to become active in that particular ministry we would love to have you!

What to Expect

What are services like?
No matter what service you attend, you will be welcomed by a wonderful loving congregation. We are an older congregation that is well established in the Richmond area near Three Lakes Park. The 8:45am worship service will welcome you with a more traditional feel, and fewer individuals. Our 11:00am service is our most attended and can be a touch more contemporary than the prior. On months that have 5 Sundays, we like to come together and have a special 10:00am service which sometimes includes a luncheon to follow.

What is the community like?
Our church community is amazing. We have a heart for service, and showing Christs love. We are very family focused, and have family night dinners every month. Currently, we are primarily an older congregation, and we would love to have all generations join. Chamberlayne Heights is rich in history and heritage. It is a church that has impacted many lives in the Richmond community, state of Virginia, and around the world.
