About Us
God’s Word is powerful and able to equip believers to perform the things written in it (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The cornerstone of our ministry is to “proclaim the word” (2 Timothy 4:1-4). A verse-by-verse study of the Bible, in its entirety over time, will equip believers to apply the teachings of the Bible in their own lives so they can honor and please the God who saved them.

- Beth Haven Church was founded in 1960 by Chester McCalley. He served as pastor for forty years until his death in May 2000. His biblical teachings can be found online at the Word of Truth website, www.wordoftruthkc.org.

William Buttermore
Pastor / Teacher
Will Buttermore is the pastor of Beth Haven Church. He began his ministry here in October 2014. He and his wife, Sarah, have three daughters, Leanna Lower, Serenity Ohlsen, and Kayla Thew. His goals, as well as those of Beth Haven Church, are to proclaim the gospel message and build up believers in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
