Dawn Richards
Dawn Richards has been an ordained elder since 1987. During that time she served at 7 churches and as a pastoral counselor at a Crisis Center. Pastor Dawn has a passion for teaching, preaching and outreach. She loves doing mission work and working with people of all races and cultures.Location & Directions

I grew up in this church building (even when they had a daycare and our footprints in newly poured pavement). The people made it "The Church With The Heart" and even though we've moved on (since the new owners shut it down) I will never forget all the hearts that have touched my life at Asbury.
Stephen Lawson shared their experience Jun 2021
My father was the pastor at Asbury United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City during 1968 and 1969 (I believe). We were moved to Lawton in 1970. His name was Carl Lawson. I have many fond memories of those times. Members I recall are Arvil & Betty Holt (and their son and daughter, Alan and Gaye), the Huddleston family, the Johnson family, and others.
