Our Services

What are services like?
Our services are easy to follow and easy to be part of. The music is a blend of the Southern Gospel and contemporary songs with Bluegrass and great hymns. Messages are down to earth and practical. Some clap their hands, others lift their hands, some say amen in praise to God. In our services we sing, we pray, we share, and we are invited to do something practical with our faith. Some wear their ties but most do not. There is a place for everyone at Arbor.

What is the community like?
We are a rural church with a diverse membership including professionals, blue collar employees, and agribusiness owners. There are several communities of 10 to 20 residences within 5 miles of the church. We support the community with a food pantry, with Laborers for Christ who do small home repair projects for those in need, as a sponsor of the Sheriff's DARE anti-drug program, and many partnership mission trips to the wider community of the nation and world, Within our church there are several small group opportunities for people to experience the vital caring community we are. The support system in our small groups is second to none. We are serving together in faith and love.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If one is not a Christian, we will love that individual, pray for that person, and care for that person without prejudice. We make it a practice to never coerce or pressure people but instead rely on the Spirit of God to move in their hearts. Our responsibility is to love without conditions and to serve without reservation. A person who has never been to church will find ours open, receptive, caring, and responsive. Our desire is for you know Christ and to grow with us in faith and love.
