My names Cary Kessel and I write this to you for I know your mandated reporters who has to report abuse and neglect of children. I also write to you for a few other reasons knowing your love for children and by your profession inherently desire the safety of children. My child is in serious danger at the hands of her very mother and unfortunately the system is enabling the mother Brandi Larson’s behavior. I will attach a google slide link with the court reports proving what I’m soon about to voice. Just so you can see firsthand how the system is failing my daughter and failing to remove this child from her care. Just imagine for a second if your child was living in a home where reports are coming in from the landlord that the unit was destroyed and trashed/ the yard was full of dog feces/human feces was smeared all over the walls inside the home/ the unit was filthy and reported the homeowners were in the process of evicting Ms. Larson. Also reports from Ms. Larson’s own kids voicing they feel their mother is using meth again! Also confirming the filthy home! With their new providers voicing how the kids return unbathed and needing medical attention. Yet she still possesses my child. Ms. Larson threatened to kill both myself and our daughter. In fact Ms. Larson was charged for breaking a vase over my head and voicing to the arresting officers I think I just killed him-as blood covered the entire place and I was being taken to the hospital to have my head filled with staples. This was done with in the presence of children. This behavior has not changed. In fact Ms. Larson admitted to CPS to attacking me and breaking my phone-again in the presence of my daughter who was terrified! Yet they allowed my child to stay in her care-even recommending they desire this child to stay in her care! Even though Ms. Larson hasn’t followed any safety measures/court recommendations/sober plan or anything to correct her behavior. It gets better than this though in front of CPS in court in front of the judge Ms. Larson voiced on record she’d never work with CPS, she’ll flee from them attempting and didn’t want CPS in her life. As you can read from the reports Ms. Larson has followed through with her promise. Hasn’t been doing her urine tests as ordered/ and when Ms. Larson does other drugs are found yet there’s no immediate issue to have my child removed. Here is how poorly CPS in Isanti are dealing with Ms. Larson first they recommend the removal of my daughter/than with Ms. Larson doing exactly what she voiced in court on record refusing to cooperate with CPS they changed their recommendations to they think the child should now stay in her care. In fact they’re well aware of Ms. Larsons inability to provide for any child for they removed her other children from her care. Ms. Larson didn’t cooperate with CPS than either. This abuse of children has been going on for a decade with Ms. Larson with the system being totally aware of everything. What I reported mind you is confirmed by her landlord/her children/ those children’s parents/ CPS and many others-they have no logical reason to keep my child under her care. I reported cigarette burns on my daughter/chipped tooth and more yet I suppose she’s not violent! Guess it means nothing I reported this violent behavior and soon after Ms. Larson confirms this uncontrollable behavior when as you can read attacks me during the investigation to ascertain if my daughter should remain in her care. The only way this gets worse is if Ms. Larson kills my child. Ms. Larson refused to bring my daughter to the hospital with a life threatening illness, did so with her other kids-all documented by the courts. This is why I send this to you. I’ve reacted out of anger and frustration many times throughout this fight to save my daughter so they largely ignore anything I say. I need you to simply send an email to the CPS voicing you’ve received these documents and or call them! In this way it’s known others know in that way they too can be held accountable and hopefully remove my daughter from Ms. Larson an active meth users care. Refusing at every turn she has ever used meth-yet testing positive for the very substance she’s denied ever using! I won’t voice the rest for it’s too extensive, nor can I add all the documents for there’s just too many. I just wanted you to see how much danger this child is in. I’ve contacted every city official informing them-they’ve did nothing! So since my voice means so little I request you to help save my daughter. Unless you can read these documents and you feel no threat exists! If not I hope it than becomes your duty to contact CPS, City Commissioner/police department and simply voice your thoughts/concern. I’ll leave some email links to these people below and phone numbers. Please report this to media outlets if you don’t see progress and responses. Unless you want to live with I told you and we have another case of Eric Dean “the boy we couldn’t save” as a news story. This is a child that can be saved if people just speak up/please share this with others-God Bless. Please don’t just brush this, please assist on saving my daughter. One email could save this child!
