What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services follow the Lutheran tradition of liturgical worship. It is a Bible-focused, Christ-centered approach. There is no dress code. Many people dress up, others dress more casually.

What is the community like?
Columbus is a small, close-knit community of about 5,000 people. It's about a half hour drive from Madison. It's a great place to raise a family. Check out the City of Columbus website here: www.cityofcolumbuswi.com.

Daniel Sims

Pastor Sims received a BA from Northwestern College in Watertown and is a 1997 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin. He served as Pastor of Risen Savior Lutheran Church in McFarland, WI from 1997 to 2001. He began his service at Zion Lutheran Church in Columbus in early 2002. Pastor Sims and his wife Jennifer have three children.
