OUR MISSION IS: To get out of the building, find the lost, and win them to Christ!
Teach them the Word, Train them in the Word, and then release them as Disciples of the Word, who will continue the work of going out, finding the lost, and winning them to Christ!

Description
At WOF our vision is the family unit. Families come in all shapes and sizes. if you are currently a single individual, you are a family of one. If you are married with no children, you are a family of two. Some disqualify themselves from the term "family" if they don't have a spouse and/or children. At WOF we want you to know -you are a family and (if a Christian) a part of an even bigger family..the family of Christ. if not a Christian yet...visit us, experience the love and you'll want to join the "Family of Christ".

Leadership

Melba Nears

A California native, Pastor Nears began serving the Lord in 1982. She is the owner of We R Family Christian School & Children's Center and CEO of Word of Faith Christian Center where she pastors with her husband of 34 years Pastor Lenon Nears Jr. Together they have two adult children, Arica Nears age 30 something and Lemel Nears who is in his late twenties. Pastor Nears currently holds degrees in Early Childhood Education and Human Development. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Bible and Theology. Although a very busy woman, Pastor Nears believes that her quiet time with the Lord and spending time in worship each day is how she has, and will continue to overcome whatever life sends her way. Pastor Nears’ favorite scripture is Isaiah 40:28-31. Pastor Nears has served as Praise and Worship leader, Youth Pastor, Minister, Counselor, and continues to serve the members of Word of Faith Christian Center, the city of Fairfield , its surrounding communities and beyond.
