People at Woodlake UMC are probably a lot like you. We have jobs, families, struggles and successes. We have questions, doubts, convictions and passions. We are also convinced that we have some answers to many of life’s questions.

At WUMC we don’t claim to be perfect or to have it all together, but we do claim to know the One who does. We want to make a lasting change in your life, in our community, and in the world. How do we go about that? By guiding people to love God, know God and live their faith as disciples of Jesus Christ. That's the driving purpose behind everything we do.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Here at WUMC, you're sure to find a service that fits your needs and style! We offer relevant worship with inspiring music, a Bible-centered message delivered by our Lead and Associate Pastors, and a warm, friendly environment. Six (6) Styles of Inspiring Worship: 5:30 pm | Saturday - Contemporary casual service (praise music led by a live band), 8:00 am | Sunday - Traditional service (traditional hymns and soloists), 9:17 am | Sunday - Band-driven service (modern praise music led by a live band), 11:15 am | Sunday - Spirited-Traditional service (a mix of old hymns and contemporary music), 5:30 pm | Sunday - Fusion Youth service (for 6-12th grade students - modern praise music led by youth band), 7:00 pm | Wednesday - First Fruits Prayer Service (Quiet prayer service with traditional hymns and communion). Additional notes: Communion is served at each service on the first weekend every month. We consider the Lord’s Supper to be open to all believers in Christ, no matter your denomination. We also take an offering at each service. For those who call Woodlake UMC home, we consider giving our offering to be another form of worship.

Welcome! We are a community of people from different backgrounds all seeking to grow in our relationship with Christ and to lead others to that same place. We look to the Bible for sole authority and instruction on how to live life with God, His church, and the community around us. We strive for a life-changing connection with Jesus Christ, to be a disciple, and to live a surrendered and forgiven life. You are welcome here in Christian love, no matter where you are on your journey. Our vision is to Love God, Know God, and Live Our Faith as Disciples of Jesus Christ!
