People at Woodlake UMC are probably a lot like you. We have jobs, families, struggles and successes. We have questions, doubts, convictions and passions. We are also convinced that we have some answers to many of life’s questions.
At WUMC we don’t claim to be perfect or to have it all together, but we do claim to know the One who does. We want to make a lasting change in your life, in our community, and in the world. How do we go about that? By guiding people to love God, know God and live their faith as disciples of Jesus Christ. That's the driving purpose behind everything we do.

Leadership
Rev. Dr. Peter Moon
Pete Moon has served as the Senior Pastor of Woodlake UMC since June 2002. He received his Masters Degree from Union/PSCE Seminary in Richmond, and a Doctorate from Wesley Seminary in Washington D.C. His focus has been upon changing lives through Christ in the midst of a rapidly growing segment of Chesterfield County. At the same time, he believes that the church must be invested in the lives of those who struggle for life in our Richmond Community and in overseas missions. He has been married for twenty years to his wife Lynn and has five children. In his spare time loves woodworking and building furniture.Location & Directions
