About Us

At Winona Faith Church we are attempting to build Kingdom Community within the 4 walls of our church and also outside of our walls in the city of Winona and surrounding areas. The concept of establishing God’s kingdom was initiated by Jesus in his life and ministry, and it has been perpetuated by those who follow Christ ever since. Jesus taught and ministered passionately about the kingdom and actually instructed us to pray for and to expect God’s Kingdom to come in our lives and in our church. The kingdom of God is invisible, powerful, supernatural and perpetually growing and sometimes the ways of the kingdom of God seem a little backwards to our natural mindsets and our traditional ways of thinking. For instance, in God’s kingdom we are told to love our enemies, to give generously of our time and talents, to not worry, to go the extra mile, to be last instead of first and to forgive. As a church, we are doing our best to be people of God’s kingdom who exist in a community of faith while we live out and practice kingdom principles in the community around us. If you are doing your best to be a person of God’s kingdom, we would love to have you join us in this Kingdom Community.

What to Expect

What are services like?
What to Expect When You Arrive: We are intentional about making the worship experience as non-threatening and comfortable as possible for all of our guests and members. You will be greeted and welcomed from the moment you arrive and a host will assist you if you are a first time guest. Plan on coming about ten minutes early if you have children to get them checked in to our childcare area or nursery and then enjoy some refreshments prior to the service. Sunday services typically last about an hour and fifteen minutes and you can feel comfortable dressing any way that you’d like. From jeans to a suit; you will fit in at Winona Faith Church.

What is the community like?
What to Expect From Our People: We are just normal and sometimes even messy people from all backgrounds who are loved by God. We seek to live as a community who worships together, helps the hurting and those who are in need, actively involved in service to our community through small group environments and large community events. We laugh, celebrate, grieve, encourage and worship together in an effort to create a kingdom community. People are people anywhere you go and here at Winona Faith Church we believe that we are a people just like you who have been touched by God’s amazing Grace.

What to Expect From Our Vision, Mission & Purpose: We are striving to be a church that thrives beyond the weekend services and truly lives outside the bricks & mortar of our building. We never think we are a people that have arrived and are comfortable. Rather, we seek to connect our community, share the gospel by pursuing those who are searching and make disciples by sharing Christian life together in kingdom community. We believe that Kingdom community is just the kingdom people of God living and worshiping together as a community while seeking to advance His kingdom in the local community. Aaron Lindholm

Aaron Lindholm – Lead Pastor Aaron lives on the East end of Winona with his wife Carolyn and their three children: Tyler, Boots & Kaleb. A Graduate of Oral Roberts University; Aaron grew up in Michigan’s Northern Peninsula. He then joined the U.S. Navy where he met Carolyn, and began their ministry career. Aaron & Carolyn have done youth, associate and evangelistic ministry in Michigan, California, & Oklahoma before becoming the lead pastor for Winona Faith Church.
